1,344 SF Veterinary Hospital Remodel
La Mesa CA
This complete interior remodel transformed 1,344 square feet of an existing veterinary hospital into a modern, highly functional clinical environment built for staff efficiency and patient care.
The defining challenge was the existing ceiling height. By relocating the mechanical ductwork above the roof joists and creating a concealed roof plenum duct space, the full structural height of the interior was unlocked, delivering a clean, airy ceiling plane that dramatically shifts the character of every room, without expanding the building footprint.
The entire floor plan was rethought to maximize every square foot, improving circulation and carving out clearly defined zones for reception, examination, treatment, surgery, and recovery. Finish selections balance clinical precision with warmth, reflecting the professionalism that defines the practice.
This project demonstrates what thoughtful space planning and technical problem-solving can accomplish within the constraints of an existing shell.
